Her legs aint bloated just this redvspots that are sometimes more visable than other days. And it doesnt go away. This seemed tovwork but in the end it did not. Bepanthen plus only helped littlw bit, too..

Mine has red spots and what looks like a callous on one of her front feet. It looks kind of bruised, no open sores. I apply Mupuricin every day. Right now I’m using it twice a day since it seems to be worse. She doesn’t move around enough and she sleeps kind of laying on her front feet instead of on her side. So I think there’s pressure on her feet all the time.
I have lots of cushioned pads and soft blankets. And I scatter her food and have 2 water bottles so she moves around to find her food and water. I’m not sure what else I can do.

Yeah..Win has red spots, too...like you described. Ours doesnt necessary look bruised...only sometimes a little bit.
We decided to stop tomorrow since its antibiotic cream..so its like 14-days of treatment..(standard 7-10days) and Winnie has enough of it.
VEt said if they take Ab for long time bacteria grew even more resistant..
Winnie has bit of belly issues..too..so we re immidiatly of vegetables. I notice she doesnt have to strong hind legs, but we try to work on it-but when belly is hurting her, she s always putting legs wierdly.
I was so disturbed i almost had car crash in sunday..she was sitting in the corner, belly hurting and i was late for work and..yeah i had luck that i didnt crash and came to work safe...i was driving way too fast..i need to be more careful.
However.. I read you can try with manuka honey, or this blis to sol https://www.amazon.ca/OAKHURST-COMPANY- ... B004GVFKFY (you cant get it in Slovenia, maybe something similar i need to check out), betadine(Yodine) ... and this tricadine neo is mentioned for chickens but i dont know if its suitable for guinea pigs??
I think i ll give winnie a break and than we will try with manuka honey and betadine..and maybe neomicyn..with long breaks in between so she wont be stressed out.
Its seems those pigs adopted from harsh enviorments..sure has more issues..and than its also character-more dominant easier to handle things..
Winnie is wild..but she s also sensitive..Irie would kill you if you would try to do something he didnt prefer and he didnt came from nice home, too. And LEe was domi nant too ..butprevious owners loved him so much-so he was one all around happy relaxed and confident boy. Winnie was treated so poorly that i immidatly back off if i see she s disturbed. And when she s coming shouting for food i just reward her ..
I wish Millie and Ruby Sue the best..i will report if we find something that works totally for redness on legs.
We also have urine check tomorrow..hope its okay..i need just to bring in sample since its still smells sometimes.

I meant if guinea pigs take AB that only work to some extent and they took it too long or too often its possible it wont help-thats what vet said for Winnie s URIs issue too ..that she cant be on AB all the time..so..

Win urine results are really bad .. full of two type of bacteria and blood.. i wont lie i was crying way back home from dog vet..i couldnt. It seems problems are falling on us everytime it looks we are doing better.
Today we start forcefwding cause win didnt eat nearly nothing. Dog vet suggester marboyl but i am disturbed cause we wanted to try azythromicyn in a week.
Tomorrow we will call exotic vet for advice and start ab for urinary tract infection.
I tought she can than take genta+ marbocyl combined again for uri and uti but..i dont know if genta is good id she has uti severe..so we will consult with vet.
We will hit back again with all we ve got ..in half an hour we will go vitc critical care additional water ans probiotic..she wasnt forcefes in three months..
