I contacted Oxbow last week to see if they could tell me how much calcium is in each of the different flavors of their Simple Rewards line of treats. I finally heard back today, and here is what they said:

Organic Barley Biscuits - 0.6%
Simple Rewards Veggie Treats - 0.6%
Apple Banana Treats - 0.5%
Carrot Dill Treats - 0.5%
Cranberry Treats - 0.5%
Bell Pepper Treats - 0.6%
Freeze Dried Strawberry Treats - 0.17%
Freeze Dried Banana Treats - 0.02%
Timothy Treats - 0.75% *

* Per Oxbow, the Timothy Treats contain calcium carbonate.

I wanted to share this info for anyone else here who might be keeping a close eye on calcium intake for their guinea pig(s).

I wonder about sugar. Depending on the ripeness of the bananas they use, there could be a high sugar content.

I get the apple-banana ones. Ruby Sue loves those, Millie is unimpressed.

I ordered the carrot-dill, the cranberry, and the veggie treats. I was just curious about calcium content before I ordered them, as it's not listed on the nutritional analysis. So far, the boys have had the veggie and the carrot-dill and seem happy with them.

Speaking of Oxbow products, has anyone here ever seen caloric values for any of Oxbow's pellets? (not protein, etc.; actual calories).

I think that is a difficult thing to determine since it is complicated for hay depending kind of on the ruminant. And there is hay of some sort in some pellets.

Best I can point you at is this:
