I just came to see if I could put pig poo in my compost pile, and am delighted the answer is yes! I did a 5 gallon bucket composter over the summer mostly with just human food scraps, but I've got a spot in the yard I want to turn into a proper pile.

I keep a 13ish gallon trash can next to the pen, where I put the swept out old hay, pellets and veg (Wendell likes to dump bowls). When that's full, I take it out in the far corner of my backyard and dump it next to a tree. So far it seems like it's not causing problems. I don't put it in a compost tumbler, though. It would fill up too fast.

I put mine in a pile in my pasture. I have a pitchfork that I use to turn it every couple of weeks.
