Mange and Severe Pododermatitis
I'm very sorry :(
I read the whole thread just 2 days ago and was hoping that he'd get better.
Thank you and everyone else who helped him.

Partial pathology report back on the mass: liposarcoma, or a malignant fatty tumor. Fatty tumors are not always benign! That makes a lot of sense since the tumor was very friable. Kinda buttery in texture and started to fall apart just with the DVM probing around in there.
We have to call for a consult tomorrow. There are some problems with the rest of the urinary tract report that we have to sort out with an exotics' specialist. The didn't find any stones, though. Not obvious ones and no obvious urinary tract tumors :( Nothing to explain the amount of frank blood and clots he was passing.

Forgive my ignorance, but was does "friable" mean?
Pixie had one (malignant) mammary tumor and one (benign)fatty tumor removed about 3 - 4 months ago. Even before the sutures were removed, another lump appeared where the fatty tumor had been removed from. The vet removing the sutures did 2 needle aspirates (from different angles) and said that they did not contain anything suspicious. The lump was also measured at that time.
I had another needle aspirate done last week - same results. No change in size either, and it's still able to be moved around.
Now I'm wondering if I should have it removed (again).
If she were your pig, what would you do?

Goodness! I just read through this whole thread. Poor little Rhett and lucky little Rhett all at the same time!
I don't think I've ever read a thread where I talked out loud to myself so much! Those first pictures are horrific. All of you who touched his life are little piggie angels. Serafina, you know I think you work miracles! What a job you did with this little guy.
Take care little Rhett. Hopefully, you have found your Scarlet!

I've haven't been around much this week - Susan told me about this. I am so sorry, Serafina. I can't tell you enough how much it meant that you were able to take him in and take such wonderful care of him. When I first saw him in the shelter, I didn't think he had much of a chance. He had 8 great months with you and that means the world to me. I'll miss him very much.
