Adopting from a Rescue

The wonderful people who run rescues donate their time and often their own funds in the interest of finding homes for the guinea pigs that come into their care. Food, bedding, and medical costs are significant.

If you email a rescue about adoption, you can expect:
- a response within a few days
- an adoption form to complete

Be kind to your local rescuer. A rescuer's time is valuable. They have only the interests of their charges at heart.

Please do NOT buy a guinea pig after taking up a rescuer's valuable time. If you do not intend to adopt, do your own research.
