He's very sweet and he has this quiet little squeak that just melts my heart. When I hold him, he lays his head down and purrs in between those little squeaks. Out of my boys, he stays with me the longest before getting antsy and wanting to go back to his cage. That's just what I need right now.

He's one cool cat (or guinea pig as it were).

His brother is every bit as cute and precious. Can't wait to see him too. Vacations are nice but I miss all of my boys a lot!

I have small patches of green grass in the yard. It hasn't been overly cold so far this winter and a little bit of it is green. I don't expect it to stay that way, but it did enable me to pick some for the boys. They really like that a lot. They like going outside but it's not quite warm enough, so this is the next best thing.

I'm going to try and get them out more when winter is over, but in the meantime, I'll pick them grass for a treat as much as I can.

How nice to have some grass in January! I'm in Minnesota and we won't be seeing anything green for months. This summer I picked lots of grass so that Lacey started to think each time I came back indoors I had grass for her. She wheeks and paces when I come in and can't understand why there is no grass.

It's not much. A couple of patches with a few blades. Just barely enough for each piggie to get a small handful. They liked it so it was worth the effort.

Sam has similar coloring to our girl Chunkita. Very cute.

We regularly give our herd 4x4 trays of Wheatgrass and they love it.
