Yes, I read that, I tried to make a cigarette like with vegetables but it won't work...

bpatters wrote: Tue Dec 12, 2017 10:16 pm Did they do a skull x-ray to rule out elongated roots and/or abscessed teeth? Either of those will make a pig unwilling to chew.
The only x-ray I did was the one I posted on page 1 of this thread, I'm not sure if they saw any problem with elongated roots and/or abscessed teeth, could you tell me by looking at the photo?

I'm not very good at reading x-rays. It looks to me like there could possibly be elongated roots, but I'm really not sure.

This night he managed to eat some lettuce, not a good amount but it's the first time he eats in like 10 days. He's on the garden now but didn't eat grass/cabbage/carrot.

It is difficult to tell from your xray. I looked at the side view, which I think would show elongation the most clearly but could not tell. If you have a larger image of that one, it would be helpful. Meanwhile, there are a few dental xrays in the teeth pages you could look at (none of us are specialists).

Hello, it's me again, I recorded Flake trying to eat, look at the difficulty he has to eat.

Sometimes he gets it right and eats, if I try to help him he stops and don't try anymore...

Can you post a picture of his front teeth, with both tops and bottoms in the picture?

Also, have you tried cutting things into long slivers and pushing them in his mouth back to his molars?

All the green vegetable staining make it look like he is having a difficult time eating. The teeth actually look too long to me. Can he close his mouth completely? Does it look like the teeth are touching the roof of the mouth?

Look at what one guinea pig looks like:

I am sorry he's having a difficult time eating.

The teeth was too short after the surgery, you can see in my previous posts. Yes, he can close his mouth, those teeth don't seems to be bothering him.

I noticed like a week ago that Flake is 'hooting', so maybe there is also a heart problem, he wasn't hooting before the surgery, maybe it was one of the medicines? I guess the Tramadol. Also you were asking for a larger image of his teeth x-ray, I managed to zoom a bit but I still have no idea if he has elongated roots, vet said she was looking at the x-ray again, but I had not response at this moment.
