Weird mouth and jaw movements during feeds....
Hi everyone,
Could I have some advise on this? Our 1 year 8 month old female, Clover, occasionally makes strange mouth and jaw movements while eating, particularly the fluffy seed tops in her hay. (These are as good as treats to all three of our piggies!) To me it seems that she simply has food "stuck to the roof of her mouth", so to speak. She does not seem distressed. The moment lasts less than 1 minute. Weight is stable, per and poo are normal. Typical behavior otherwise.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Dawn

Thank you. I thought of that but don't see any of those signs. We haven't seen this behavior since I posted. Figures! :)
