Meet Barley, our cute but socially inept guinea pig
After watching the shelters and Craigslist for the past week, we found a pig currently known as Lenny. The owner who was rehoming him found him through Craigslist in hopes he'd be a good buddy for her pig, Lucy, but upon discovering that the pig did not have the right equipment to be a Lilly, she decided to try to find a new home for him. He's about nine months old and VERY talkative.
I'm trying to figure out how to describe his color. Can you be a tortoiseshell white guinea pig if one of the colors is cream?
He's a healthy little guy. We're giving him some adjustment time before doing an introduction because, well, once he meets Barley, he'll never know peace and quiet again.

So far, so good on introducing Barley and Lenny. Barley is clearly puzzled because Lenny isn't interested in being the dominant pig, which means he's the dominant pig, and I don't think he feels ready for a management position yet.
Pictures coming soon.
