KMS Hayloft or Oxbow for Sensitive Gut?

- I dissent.
Our senior with a sensitive gut (prone to painful gas episodes) is currently on Oxbow pellets, but I'm wondering if KMS might be a better choice based on some of the ingredients. Interestingly, though, Oxbow is actually a little higher in fiber. I'm not sure how some of the other ingredients affect the gut. What's the difference, for example, between yeast culture & hydrolyzed yeast in Oxbow and Brewer's yeast in KMS? Or soybean oil in Oxbow vs. vegetable oil in KMS? Oxbow has wheat middlings, whereas KMS has Pacific wheat. Oxbow has soybean hulls and soybean meal, whereas KMS just has soybean meal.
Has anyone here had been luck with one over the other in a pig with digestive issues?

When Josephine used to post here, she had a lot of information on this kind of thing. That is mainly how some of the pellet recommendations came about. www.guinealynx.info/pellets.html
I would only have guesses for some of your questions. Guessing the soybean meal is better than the soybean meal/hulls. This link appears on that page, which explains what the various ingredients are:

My guinea pigs don't really eat pellets much, even though I offer them daily, plus none of them have a problem with a sensitive gut. Scruffy however, has been eating more of them lately and he's on antibiotics right now that do effect his appetite and can irritate his gut. I'm interested to see what, if anything others have experienced with this issue and which pellets they have better results with.

Have you looked at the new Sherwood Timothy only pellets?
They did another formula that has no Alfalfa.
I switched my pigs onto the new formula and they all love it!
