So, this is (mostly) hypothetical at this point 😄 - but if I were to bring home a third guinea pig, what all do I need to know about introducing the new pig to my current two? My current two are a mother and daughter, aged approximately 1 and 2, according to the shelter where I got them.

There is a lone 2-year-old female pig at the shelter right now, and I just hate to see a lonely pig, so I am tempted to bring her home, though I don't know yet if I will do it. I would have to get a second Midwest pen to connect to the current one; that is the main thing.

Will two pigs in a pair gang up on a third one? What are the chances of it working out?

Can be tricky. There is a link to a great page for introductions on this one:
