I am excited to be back on this forum as I just adopted 2 boys this week!

I am interested in getting some plants that could be near, maybe hang into, the cage. Whether or not the pigs would eat it, do you have houseplants that you know are safe for them? Or maybe even some that they enjoy or would be better for them than another plant?

I did find a thread on the topic for rabbits that mentioned spider plants and "wandering jew" plants: https://www.rabbitsonline.net/threads/r ... nts.35347/

Remember that they LOVE wheatgrass, but don't expect it to last long. They can, and will, shave it to the bottom in just a few minutes. As for the houseplants, I have no idea. Sorry.

Thanks - I wanted to add that I am looking at these houseplants for room decoration or maybe to make it look/feel natural for the pigs, not necessarily to be in the cage for the purpose of eating.

Our 2 girls LOVE Wheatgrass but we have tried to keep all house plants well away from them as we didnt want to risk them nibbling on them or on any leaves that might fall off.
