Within the next few months, I plan on getting 2 piggies. If I get two piggies at the same time, from the same place, and they were in the same enclosure, would it still be advisable to quarantine each of them from each other? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just trying to be safe. Thanks!

No, if they are from the same place it is not necessary to quarantine them. They will have been fully exposed to anything transmissible from each other already.

Thanks, Svh. That’s what I had thought but I just wanted to be sure.

I don't know if this is your plan but please adopt your piggies from a reputable breeder or the local animal shelter instead of buying. And welcome to Guinea Lynx!

@WICharlie, yes I definitely plan on adopting them from a local shelter if any of them offer piggies! And thank you.

"adopt your piggies from a reputable breeder"

Is this what you meant to say, WICharlie? Or did you want to say adopt from a reputable rescue?

"reputable breeder" = oxymoron

Oh crap, I meant reputable rescue. I have no idea why I typed breeder! I must be losing it.
