Beet greens for guinea pigs?

Thanks everyone. I had a feeling that the greens might be high in calcium or oxalates. I have a pig with sludgy pee, so he won't be getting any!

Guinea pigs should not eat the leaves from a beet they are very poisonous

Beet leaves are delicious! Yes, they are likely high in calcium and mature leaves might have excessive oxalic acid in them. One of the best greens I ever had was fresh beet greens from my garden.

I fed beet leaves to my boy and he had a kidney stone attack...This was before we knew alot about diet and stones. I won't chance them now.
