Feeding of Guinea Pigs -- http://icelord52.tripod.com/squeak/wenzel.pdf -- a translation of an article by Hermann Wenzel (translation by Louise Czupryna and offered at her Squeak Pig site).

This article offers an interesting look at nutrition. Unfortunately he suggests putting vitamin supplements in the water if they are required. Also promotes false notion that carrots are a good source of vitamin C. Other dietary and physiological information interesting. Describes hay as the most important food that can be provided guinea pigs for good health.
