i brought my guinea to a vet about a week and a day ago and they said that hes fine and he might have gotten scared by something which made him stop eating and drinking and then his stomach shrank which made him anorexia. after about a couple of days using the medication he as back at his normal routine and normal sized poops but as soon as i stop using one medication and then another he slowly got back to the same place he started and really need help im really scared for him.

Was this an exotic vet? If not, you need to see one. Stomachs don't shrink, and a fright won't make pigs stop eating and drinking.

I'd find a good exotic vet ASAP and get him in for a good checkup.

If you google "exotic vets Montreal" without the quotes, you'll get a number of hits on exotic clinics.

I've been to vets that treat exotics that really weren't that knowledgeable. I finally found a group who really know what they're doing. I'd try another vet.
