Two of my older pigs (around 5 yrs), have odd cloudy spots in one of their eye (each pig has one cloudy spot). I’m not sure if it’s an ulcer (I’ve had pigs with them before and it doesn’t look to same) or maybe something else. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m thinking I’m probabilities going to call the vet tomorrow, but just looking for other opinions.

Take a look here and see if anything fits: https://www.guinealynx.info/eyes.html

I took a look and I’m either thinking it an ulcer/injury or cataracts based on pictures, though it’s hard to tell

I tried getting a photo on here, but am having some issues with attaching them.

Send a PM to Lynx, and she'll give you an address to send the pictures so she can post them.

If they are clear and crisp, I can put them up.

My money is on cataracts.

My Piggie has cataracts due to old age. At first she was upset but we put big boxes in her pen all together with openings to each one. She feels very safe and happy noe
