Went to the vet yesterday. Doc agrees with us on the Baytril and the Metronidazole, so those are off the menu. On the other hand I'm to continue the daily Miconazole lotion for a bit longer. She still has a crusty spot on her shoulder, and a few areas that are still bare (small), but the eye is almost completely grown back now. As has the ribs, hips and butt. And, Fuzz seems to have gained a few grams over the last couple of weeks (and kept them on). Yay Fuzz!
On a different note, does the Metronidazole have to stay in the fridge? It says to keep refrigerated to enhance the flavor. She hasn't ever liked the banana flavor anyway. Of course, I may need to give it to another pig someday before it expires...

Good news is Fuzz "seems" to be gaining back some weight, gram by gram. She still seems bony compared to what she was 8 months ago, but...
On the bad side, her poops aren't exactly diarrhea but still very soft, very smelly, and VERY staining. Even if I didn't have to wash all the hideys every night due to the fungal infection (no, I haven't beat that yet), I'd have to because she poops on top of each and every one, every night. Unless I use some kind of pre-treatment for the stains, they stay there. :o(

On a strict lettuce only veggie diet, Fuzzbutt's messy poops are finally firming up. I found only one messy spot yesterday, and while it was fairly large, it still was the only one. She usually hits all three hideys every night and several more spots in the eating area (I feed loose rather than using bowls). I'm very happy but I know she misses her veggies. The other two get them when I remove them from the cage and away from her.
Of course she still gets unlimited hay and less than the recommended 1/4 cup of pellets (I put down just under one scoop daily for all 3).

They are normal brown, just really soft (smears when I try to pick them up) and pretty smelly. They clump together into a lump most of the time. This is NOT diarrhea.
I think we will have to search out a real guinea pig specialist, perhaps in Tacoma. I'm afraid that if this continues, it will kill her.

Jan sometimes has smelly poops that are like toothpaste. We just put it down to her having eaten something that didn't agree with her. With the soft poops is Fuzzy still hydrated? Have you tried a motility drug? Jan is on a tenth of a tablet of metomide a day. Hoping all goes well for you and little Fuzzy! Have you tried removing all veggies to see if that makes a difference? Will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts.

Have you tried poop soup? You've had such bad luck, I don't know if you have any healthy guinea pigs to be a donor right now. I've found poop soup works better than probiotics. I doesn't have to be a cecal poop if you can't get one.
