Well, I just got back from the vet, $200 dollars lighter (it would have been 400 had a friend of mine not worked at the vet´s office)... I brought Eugene in this morning for a golf ball sized lump under his chin, which they originally thought was an abcess, but after having Eugene put under and surgically removing it, they found out it was a cyst...
so my only question is...is this the end of the problem? Will this thing come back or create further problems?
oh, and my other only question is, they gave my tribrissen as an antibiotic (i think that is what they said), but they didnt give me any beni bac to put the good stuff back in...they said I didnt need it...do I?

If it was properly removed, it is not supposed to come back.
Poop from a healthy pig is better than benebac. I have only had one pig (of seven) have any trouble with antibiotics, and none of them have had diarrhea (which is what the benebac helps prevent). I dont´ think problems are likely with tribrissen, but maybe someone else knows better.
