Don't you want to rub that little nose? He is cute indeed! (would probably hate having his nose rubbed!)

He doesn't like any part of his body touched unless it's between his neck and hips. He pushes my hand away if I pet his head. It's all good though because I still get to enjoy that nose. Sammy is a very curious little fella and he nestles his nose on my cheek and in my neck. He licks and gives those little love nibbles too.

I posted this picture a while ago but I'll post it again here to show how cool his brown color blend is. Quite a unique piggie in every way. It's a privilege to be his human.

"It's a privilege to be his human."

And he's privileged to have a human who cares so much.

Dean playing a little peek-a-boo. He loves nestling in. He's completely my guinea pig now. He comes up to greet me, let's me pick him up and hold him and snuggles up to me.

He's very sweet and he has this quiet little squeak that just melts my heart. When I hold him, he lays his head down and purrs in between those little squeaks. Out of my boys, he stays with me the longest before getting antsy and wanting to go back to his cage. That's just what I need right now.

His brother is every bit as cute and precious. Can't wait to see him too. Vacations are nice but I miss all of my boys a lot!

I have small patches of green grass in the yard. It hasn't been overly cold so far this winter and a little bit of it is green. I don't expect it to stay that way, but it did enable me to pick some for the boys. They really like that a lot. They like going outside but it's not quite warm enough, so this is the next best thing.

I'm going to try and get them out more when winter is over, but in the meantime, I'll pick them grass for a treat as much as I can.

How nice to have some grass in January! I'm in Minnesota and we won't be seeing anything green for months. This summer I picked lots of grass so that Lacey started to think each time I came back indoors I had grass for her. She wheeks and paces when I come in and can't understand why there is no grass.
