I'm sorry about Hannah, but the new ones are adorable. I love those baby ears!

Today it's been exactly a year since Hannah passed over the bridge.
She was one the most unique pigs I ever knew. I've yet to meet another one like her. She was feisty, and things always had to be her way. She knew she had a right to food, whenever she wanted it. She was the queen of the house, and even her fur reflected that -- she had a lovely tiara on her forehead, and a Mohawk to show her attitude.

I'll see you at the bridge, Hannah. I love you.

Faline and Bambi are going to an adoption meet tomorrow, and have a good chance of going to a new home. I'm actually out of town (and out of contact; I won't find out the news about the girls until Wednesday!), but another fosterer is taking them to the meet. If you want to check up and see if they got adopted for yourself, their adoption status will be shown on this page: http://mgpr.org/MGPR/CF_Pages/available_gp.cfm

Everybody keep your fingers crossed for the girls!

Both Faline and Bambi were adopted! Hooray!

In less happy news, Duff is currently battling a suspected URI. I've posted a medical thread for him, if you'd like to keep up-to-date on his health.

Wow! Yays!

Oh, hopefully you caught it in time. Sending nose scritches for Duff.

As an update on Duff, he is feeling much better. He is running around the cage and eating hay and veggies on his own now. He's not entirely out of the woods yet, but he's getting better, fast.

And now what everyone wants: pictures!
Here's some pics from a few weeks ago of the entire herd out for a frolic in the grass.

Image Snickers, looking stately as always.

Image Faline took a liking to Mack. Mack, on the other hand, could care less.

Image Mack isn't sure what to think of the camera.

Image "What's that I smell?"

Image Duff is quite the photogenic cavy.

Image Bambi's eyes are so big that she looks like she could be an anime character!

Image Too much grass and butt-sniffing can really tire a pig out!

Image "Well hi there!"

Image Elsie strikes a dramatic pose

Image You know what they say about the grass being greener . . .

There are more photos at my Photobucket page

The black and white pig is my lovely old lady, Elsie. She kept purring today while I was petting her, something she's never done before.

Yep, I got a new camera! I'm having a lot of fun with it.
